Tu Holloway gets MVP of the Week award for Venezuelan LPB (Second Stage)
American Tu Holloway (182-G-89, agency:R.H.Consultancy) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Guaros and that's him to receive a Latinbasket.com Player of the Week award for round 2 (Second Stage).
The 24-year old guard had the game-high 27 points adding five rebounds and seven assists for Guaros in his team's victory, helping them to beat Gigantes (#3, 1-2) 85-74. Guaros maintains the 2nd position in Venezuelan LPB. Guaros is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 2nd lost game this season out of 4 games. In the team's last game Holloway had a remarkable 60.0% from 2-point range. He just recently signed at Guaros, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Xavier University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Holloway.
